Sipping Tea, Singing Songs, and Laughing Like Crazy!
Someday, I hope you can visit Bryansk, Russia. Yes, on the way you'll visit Moscow, one of the largest (and wealthiest) cities in the world. You can visit Red Square, where communist rallies were held years ago, and go to Arbat Street and get some of the best cappuccino and chocolate desert in the world. You can go to the famous Moscow circus...which really is worth a visit. But when you go to Bryansk...all of that fades into second place. Why? Because of the friends we will introduce you to. They are some of the most amazing people I've ever met. They don't have much in a material sense, but they are spiritually rich. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to meet Daniel Ryzhichenko (playing the guitar in this photo). He's an amazing musician, and has written some great songs. Maybe the most energetic individual I know. He recently got married to Julia. I hope and pray the best for them with their marriage and life in Russia. As you can see from the picture, I like to have fun and be crazy! It really was only tea we were drinking! Part of what makes Green Kite Travel (GKT) trips so great is the combination of learning and laughter. As I said earlier, I hope you can visit Bryansk, Russia. GKT will have a trip going there in 2011. Please join us!
